In April 1952, The Palomino Motel and Restaurant opened in Cullman, Alabama. Owned by Ottis and Evelyn Burrow, the establishment quickly became a landmark, housing and feeding thousands of people, including gubernatorial candidates and state elected officials.
Channeling the 1950s, our team resurrected a forgotten piece of Cullman’s history - the Palomino RV Resort sign, the sight of which glows warmly against a dusky sky, hearkening excited vacationers from I-65.
